About Person-Centred Counselling

Person-Centred Counselling is a compassionate talking therapy that places you at the heart of the process. It is based on the belief that every person has the inner resources and capacity for growth, given the right supportive environment. Rather than focusing on techniques or advice, this approach provides a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, at your own pace.

Through a genuine, empathic, and accepting relationship with your counsellor, you can begin to develop greater self-awareness and self-acceptance. This understanding often leads to improved emotional wellbeing, stronger self-esteem, and a clearer sense of direction. Person-Centred Counselling has been shown to be effective for a wide range of emotional and mental health issues, helping individuals of all ages to make meaningful and lasting change.
